2 hours of instruction
(NEW) plus an afternoon of individual practice time on our trainer kite to help reinforce the skills you learned during the lesson.
This lesson is great for everyone any age or ability. This is a semi private lesson that will never pair you with more than instructor and one other student. This format ensures that we can move at your speed and cater the lesson to exactly your needs. Our ground school will teach you all the basics of kiteboarding and give you the fundamental skills to be able to take it to the water during your next experience with us. Liquid Surf and Sail’s ground school is the best ticket to learning what you need to know to get you on the water as safely and as fast as possible. All of our instructors are certified professionals with years of experience between them both as riders and as instructors.
1. Basic Kite Flying Skills
2. Rigging and tuning a five line or bow style kite and control system
3. Launching and Landing the kite safely with a partner and alone
4. Basic Wind Theory
5. Utilizing the safety systems
6. Kiteboarding etiquette, plus when and where to and not to try kiteboarding

Water Lessons, “raising the bar”

2.5 of instruction
Once you have completed our ground school it is time to get your feet wet! This lesson is all about raising the bar, designed specifically around what you need to learn. This entire lesson is focused on getting you on the water and keeping you there. This lesson is also great for brushing up on your skills while trying the latest and greatest in Kiteboarding gear.
5.5 hour of instruction
This lesson package takes you from “Zero to Hero”. The get up and go package combines our ever popular Ground School and our water lessons. This package also offers you the flexibility of breaking the lessons up into what works best for your schedule.
4 hours of instruction and
+ 4 hours of supervised practice time on the latest and the greatest kiteboarding gear.
This lesson package is only for those who have been through a ground school and a water lesson. This is definitely the best choice for riders on vacation who don’t want to be burdened with bringing your gear. Spend your time kiteboarding on the newest gear and brushing up on your skills instead of worrying about what kites to bring or where to go.
