Bobby Nabors
Bobby founded Liquid Surf and Sail in the fall of 2004 with the goal of bringing Florida the most progressive and first class water-sports destination ever. A lifetime of traveling, teaching, and competing has given him the background and experience to assemble what has become the Liquid Surf and Sail family.
Walter Wohlrab
Walter is part of the small family of first generation Kiteboarders. He started kiteboarding in the late 90’s and never looked back. Walter started with Bobby teaching lessons the very first weekend Liquid Surf and Sail opened its doors. He is now the senior kite boarding instructor and carries certifications from both PASA and Wipika. Walter is a good friend to have either in the shop or on the beach!
Chelsea Alford
Chelsea is part of the original three at liquid surf and sail. Along with bobby and Walter she was there the day doors opened at liquid surf and sail! At 16 she became our first surfing instructor and has been running our surf programs and kids summer surf camps ever since. If you are lucky you can catch her in the shop but more than likely she will be drifting out past the sandbar with a surfer to be.
Peter Aukamp
A windsurfer for life, Peter will take you from zero to hero in one afternoon on the water. Peter has become our “peter on the spot”, He truly enjoys everything outdoors, from Windsurfing to kayaking and now kiteboarding. He enjoys his time off as much as his time on!
Nicole Richards
Nicole brings a since of style and balance to the team! She joined the team just in time to launch our new apparel and swimwear department. After years in the clothing sector managing Abercrombie and Fitch and Hollister stores she is just what we needed.
She is one of the newest members and has quickly taken to life in the water-sports industry.
Miami Staff
Jim Desilva
Jim joined the Liquid family early in 2007 to manage the south Florida market. Jim is quite possibly the most experienced and well rounded water-sports retailer around. Jim has managed and given life to some of the most productive windsurfing and kayak stores in the country. Jim has also spent time working as a sales rep for some of the biggest names in the industry. It was during this time that Jim and Bobby first crossed paths. The Liquid family is extremely fortunate to have Jim onboard.
Miguel Clavero
If you have ever been kiting in Miami you know Miguel. He has been a fixture on the Miami kiteboarding scene since there was a scene. The most well known instructor in Miami, we are happy to have him in the Liquid Family. Miguel splits his time between the shop and the beach, but if its windy look for the North Kites out on the water!
